As Within, So Without (2021)

I was invited by e.g.etal to be part of their exhibition ‘Everything is Dual’ for Melbourne’s Radiant Pavillion biennial

As Within, So Without, features two necklaces. The first is titled ‘Within darkness, light’ and the second ‘Within light, darkness’. They are a pair of opposites and each necklace contains over 70 individual parts. The square represents the material world and the circle the spiritual dimensions. Together they create wholeness. The gold elements suggest opportunities for transformation, alchemy, to find gold in both darkness and in light. In this ever-changing world integrating light and shadow is a healing tonic. Not only for ourselves as individuals but for humanity as a whole. Choosing unity over division brings the divine back into balance.
