There is a place beyond time, meet me there (2020)

This collection explores the transformation that can occur when we enter meditative states. Shedding layers, moving beyond the body and mind, connecting to the deepest part of our true nature, the aspect not bound by time, space and the material world.

Through my mediation practice, I discovered the ability to enter altered states of consciousness. Several years ago, I had an experience where I left my body and merged back into the sea of everything, timeless, endless, blissful love. I felt the lightness of my soul. Upon returning to my body I felt as if I were a large ocean squeezed into a small cup, the tightness and weight of every muscle, the agitation of the mind. I had one foot in this world, and one in another. I was forever changed. Experiences such as these are sources of inspiration and inform my work.
